Selfless friendship.. from innocence till death.

This one's for the friendship that starts in innocence, travels through adolescence and goes on till the last breath..

We met, laughed,
Played, did our studies together.
We did stupid pranks,
Shared thoughts, shared memories.
I can thank you for many things
But I won't.

I can thank you
For,
Being there when no one was,
For,
laughing on my silly jokes when no one did,
For,
Lifting me up when everyone else was busy pushing me down.

I can thank you
For,
holding my hand when no one dared,
For,
Singing weird songs even when everyone asked not to,
For,
Roaming aimlessly in the corridors just 'coz we wanted to.

I knew I was doing the right thing cause I was with you.
I know I enjoyed them cause I was sharing my life with you.
I know those were the best memories 'coz you played a part in it.

The memories are many.. Words are rare.
And so I will not thank you.. Because words are not enough.
You are a part of Me without which I'm not myself.
I loved growing up with you, I cherish each moment.
And so you will always be my bestest friend, my #soulsister.
And always remember I will never say thanks to you,

Untainted Wounds..

The reverence she still has for him, even after being hurt so many times, is enough to prove her innocence.
And the fact that she never stopped admiring his imperfections, astonished many and made them realise how naive she was to be wounded by his ways..
