Her Superhero.

He came.
He smiled.
He laughed.

They talked.
They cried.
They laughed.

He made her smile.
He made her believe in her dreams.
He made her believe in fairy-tales.

He came,
He played.
He laughed.

He smiled.
He grinned.
He left.

Red Riding Hood killed the wolf on her own.
Cinderella was her own fairy.
She found the shoe on her own,
Made a fortune on her own.

Fairy-tales were still true,
Just the endings were not the same.

The only thing his games taught her,
"She was her own superhero".

Veil

A little anxious revelation throughout the night.
Restless during the day, hiding from the light.

Crumbling inside by solicitude.
Existing willingly with gratitude.

A veil of honesty over the reality,
Show me what's beneath the travesty.

Afraid of the dark or its randomness?
Scared of people or afraid of your depths?
Show me what lies in the deepest of your frets.

Protecting the sanity or protection from the sane?
Tell me what lies behind the grace, beyond your gaze.
Show me what's inside, what's beneath this golden glaze.

Shimmering enthusiastic eyes or moist with melancholy?
Containing a world in itself or apathetic with the mess?
Unveil the void and let me in your fortress.

Disguised as strong loner, muddled up in a labyrinth.
Let me in, show me how to untangle your depth.

Reveal to me the true nature, the true meaning of the glaze.
Tell me what lies beyond your haze.

The veils are killing me, like your loneliness are making a cavity within thyself.
Let go off your insecurities and disclose your inner self.

Let me find your demons and learn to tame them.
Let me stay close and learn to love them.
And no, I won't leave you like others.
Gaining knowledge about your vulnerabilities, no, I won't use them to hurt you.
I know you have been hurt before, that's why you act defensive.
But no, I won't be the one taking advantage of your weakness.

Let me in and let me know you trust me;
Cause I have been hurt before too,
And I know how to love the dark side, how to stay there with you too.
